Humanist Global Charity offers free condoms at our clinics, we’ve provide sex education classes at the schools, and free sanitary pads to post-puberty girls.

We hired two “feminist ambassadors” - Ngabirwe Phiona and Charity Cathy - to travel into the Ruwenzori Mountains, distributing free condoms and presenting lectures to women’s groups in remote rural communities on condom use, family planning, and women’s empowerment.

We gave the Kanungu Women’s Cooperative 1,000 free condoms, and we delivered funds to the Kinywankoko United Women Association (KUWA) so they could distribute condoms to six villages: Kamahanga, Kajwenge, Mughina, Nsenyi, Mughende, and Kisinga.

We also provided vaccinations to combat a measles epidemic in Uganda; we’ve delivered hundreds of mosquito nets to Ugandan and Nigerian communities, and we provide scholarships to humanist students studying medicine at Mbarara University of Science and Technology.
